Off All Meds!

I finally got the email I've been waiting for "Discontinue all meds!" Woot! Woot!

FIrst I got to discontinue the lozenges . . . then the shots . . . and finally the vaginal suppositories- and those are the worst! All the surro's I know joke about the suppositories. They are pretty gross and leave you with we all call "pasty vagina." When you are using suppositories you are single handedly keeping Carefree panty liners in business. Although, I have to say the one good thing this time is that the suppositories that Dr. Kolb prescribed came with an applicator. The last two times, Dr. Sahakian prescribed suppositories that didn't come with an applicator. TMI, I know what you're thinking, "Gesh Kelly. Stop it with the Pasty Vagina comments and the visuals of applicator free suppositories!"

Okay, Okay, I'm done . . . for now anyway! ;)

Yuck, but if it helps hold that baby in, it is worth it.

Surrogates use vaginal suppositories??? I didn't know that. I knew about the pills and the shots. My surrogate is getting an even bigger thank you gift after hearing this!

Oh, I was SOOOO much happier being able to stop the suppositories than anything else. I could have done the shots forever, but those suppositories were not cool.

Congrats on the graduation to no more meds!! Too bad you can't have a glass of wine to celebrate!

Yay for being off the meds, especially those damn vajayjay rockets (that's what my hubby called them!).

I am so glad to hear that!! Your uterus is amazing.. I was wondering if u can give me some advice?? I had my tranfer done this past Wednesday and was implanted three embryos but was only given about 26% chance that one would take...I took hpt last PM and it came back negative...I am so bummed...I know I should not take it hard if I don't get pregnant, but I don't want to let my IPs down...Help

Jessica- how many days past a 3 or 5 day transfer are you? I have had many friends that have not gotten their BFP until 8 or 9 days past a 5 day . . . you never know.

Keep positive, you never know what can happen!! I also just had a friend that had a very low Beta and it came back the next time more than doubled- it really is a crap shoot.

Thank u Kelly!!! It was a three day transfer and I am with today four days passed the tranafer...I guess I am worried because I don't have any signs of pregnancy yet...but ur words put me at ease...I don't have anyone who understands what I am going through...they think its nuts that I would be taking a test so early...I won't give up though..we have this far and I will stay positive..
Thank u so much...u are my inspiration, and I admire u so much...ur blogs have touched my heart..
